What does Constitutional Carry mean for me?

Do I still need to have a concealed handgun permit?

      This is a loaded question that requires multiple answers.

      1. You must have a permit to carry concealed in Louisiana until

            July 4, 2024. After July 4, 2024 you do NOT need a permit as long as you

            meet qualifications and abide by all of the firearm laws (Do's & Don'ts)

      2.  Some states still require a permit to carry a loaded firearm when traveling 

             if you are not a resident in their state (this is still true even after July 4, 2024).

      3.  Churches may still require you to have a permit to carry inside of their church.

             (Most church insurance policies require it).
